Our Approach to COVID-19 Advisories
Over the last several days, and as part of our duty of care to both our clients and staff, we have been instituting, in our office, the recommended precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
This week, we began to encourage counselling clients to re-book appointments if they were feeling ill or felt they had been exposed to the virus and were self isolating. We are also offering the option, for those in self isolation but feeling the need for emotional support, to have their scheduled counselling session completed over the phone.
We are postponing all group programming, scheduled for April, until further notice.
While it's a difficult time for many and we have instituted some temporary changes to our services, we urge all those seeking help to still call or email and we will do our best to accommodate. We don't want anyone to feel they can't reach out to us.
As always, the health and wellbeing of our clients and staff are critically important to us and we will keep you advised on further changes to our services as needed.
